About Our Company

V Fit is designed to help bring fun group fitness to every body.  Whether you are an exercise veteran or just starting out, we can help you reach your fitness goals.  We provide a safe, non-intimidating atmosphere designed for all fitness levels and for varying age groups. Our philosophy is simple...BE FISH


  • We provide a variety of classes to give your body cardiovascular, strength, flexibility, and balance training.

Empowerment and Education:

  • We help you to do your best so you can be your best. "Can't" is not allowed.  At V you CAN! Our degreed staff will help teach you the fundamentals of fitness...proper warm up and cool down, various modifications for those who have limitations and various challenges for those who are looking to push to the next level. Whether you exercise with us or somewhere else, you will learn proper fitness to take with you anywhere!

Fun & Flexible:

  • While we're serious about providing you a safe, effective workout, we plan them with fun in mind.  Exercise doesn't have to be a chore. We also provide various packages so you can choose which one fits best with your schedule.


  • We follow ACSM Guidelines, American Red Cross Procedures, SPINNING and TRX Suspension Training Protocols, YogaFit Principles, and the Zumba Formula.  The guidelines we follow allow for a safe, effective workout.  We will not sacrifice your safety for a "fad" workout program.

Safety & Support:

  • If an exercise isn't safe, it's not worth doing.  Your body should be honored and protected.  We also provide you the support to keep going with your fitness program.  We're a family and we take care of each other.


  • No fluff here!  We are up front and honest in answering your questions and guiding you on your fitness journey.  We like your honesty as well.  Feedback is always welcome!

About the staff

Michelle V Collings has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years and has her MA in Teaching and her BS in Exercise Science.  In addition, Michelle has her ACE Group Fitness Instructor Certification, STAR 3 SPINNING certification, and is YogaFit, TRX Suspension Training, Zumba, Zumba Kids, Zumba Jr., Zumba Gold and Zumba Toning trained.  Along with her fitness background, Michelle has also taught dance for 13 years in the disciplines of tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, and hip-hop. As a mom of 2, Michelle can help you work classes into your busy day.

Carlos F Beamonte has been in the fitness industry for over 5 years and has his BS in Exercise Science.  He also has his AFAA Group Fitness Instructor, ACE Personal Trainer, and STAR 3 SPINNING certifications.  Carlos is also trained in TRX Suspension Training, Yoga, and Zumba. Having trained each year for Tough Mudders, Carlos knows how to take your workout to the next level.

Angela Serenson has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years and has her BS in Health Promotion.  She also has her AFAA Group Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, SPINNING certifications and is trained in TRX Suspension Training, Bender Ball, and Gliding Having a busy schedule is nothing new to Angela, so she knows how to help you get the most of your workout.

Raquel Teixeira has her AFAA Group Fitness Instructor certification and SPINNING Certification as well as training in Zumba, Zumba Toning, Zumba Kids, and Zumba Gold.  She also has her AFAA Yoga, TRX Suspension Training and PILOXING training.  Raquel started teaching Zumba Toning at a weight loss center to help weight loss participants to bring fitness into their lives. Raquel continues to inspire her students at V.

LeeAnn Weston is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance and holds a 200 hour certification.  She continues her studies with regular workshops, literature and self-study.  LeeAnn believes that there is always something new to learn in practicing yoga and the possibilities are endless.

Rachel Babecki has her Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion Studios with a concentration in Community Health from Western State University.  She has been working in the corporate fitness field and on her own as a Personal Trainer.  In addition, Rachel has her Group Exercise Instructor and SPINNING Certifications and is expanding her horizons to include YogaFit trainings and Zumba! Rachel brings her belief that fitness is for everyone to each class.  It is this belief that makes her classes accommodating to everyone.

All of the staff at VFit is certified in CPR/AED and First Aid.
